Short version: it is a scoring game for photographs of your dog. Your photos stay yours. Do not put people in them.

What pupshot is

pupshot gives a photograph of a dog a score out of 100 against a fixed rubric, writes a caption and makes a card. It keeps those cards as a timeline, along with walks, feeds, meds and weights you record.

The score is an opinion about a photograph. It is not a measurement of your dog and it is not advice of any kind. Nothing in pupshot is veterinary advice. The vet page is a summary of numbers you entered yourself, for you to take to a vet, not a substitute for seeing one.

Your account

You need an account after your first card. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anyone you invite into your household.

Your photos

Your photos remain yours. You give us permission to store them, score them and render them into cards so the app can work, and to show them to the people in your household and to anyone you send a share link to. That permission ends when you delete them.

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use. Do not upload photos of people. The app refuses them, and repeatedly trying to get around that is grounds for closing the account.

Paying

The free plan gives a daily number of ratings, one dog and the last 30 days of the timeline. A subscription lifts the quota and keeps the whole story. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, renew until you cancel, and are cancelled in the store account that bought them. Refunds are theirs to give, under their rules and your local consumer law.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the equivalent where you live.

Stopping

You can delete your account at any time. We can close an account that is being used to upload photos of people, to abuse the service, or to break the law, and we will say why.

The boring part

pupshot is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or that a score will be what you expected. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where the law does not allow that, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
