Deleting your account
You can delete your pupshot account and everything in it. You do not need the app installed to ask.
What gets deleted
- Your photos and the cards made from them.
- Every score, caption, walk, feed, med and weight on your dog's timeline.
- Your account record, your email address and your name.
- Any share links you made. They stop working.
If other people are in your household, the dog and everything they recorded stay with them, and if you were the owner the longest-standing member takes over. Your own photos, entries and account go. If nobody else is in the household, the dog's whole story goes with it.
In the app
Open Me, then Delete account. It happens straight away and cannot be undone.
Without the app
Email support@pupshot.app from the address you signed in with, with the words "delete my account". If you signed in with Apple and used hide-my-email, write from any address and tell us your dog's name so we can find you.
We confirm within two business days and finish within 30 days. Backups are overwritten on their own cycle, which takes up to a further 30 days.
A subscription is separate. Deleting your account does not cancel it, because Apple and Google hold the billing, not us. Cancel it in the store account that bought it, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
Deleting one photo or entry
You can remove a single photo without deleting your account. On the feed, swipe its row to the left and tap Delete. It asks first, then happens straight away and cannot be undone.
That removes the photo, its score and caption and the card made from it, and for a walk, both of its photos and the walk card. Its share link stops working. Personal bests and the week card are worked out again from what is left.
You can delete the photos you took, and entries without a photo that you logged. A photo someone else in your household took is theirs to delete.
Anything else
Write to support@pupshot.app with the share link of a card you want removed and cannot delete yourself, or to ask for a copy of your data before you go.
